TGN-S15

TGN-S15 is a second-generation small molecule inhibitor targeting the E5 oncogene protein of human papillomavirus (HPV). Developed by Toragen, it is designed to restore major histocompatibility complex (MHC) presentation on the cell surface, thereby enabling T-cells to recognize and eliminate HPV-infected cells. Compared to its predecessor TGN-S11, TGN-S15 has demonstrated increased efficacy and reduced side effects in preclinical studies, suggesting potential for chronic dosing at higher levels. The drug is being developed primarily for HPV-associated cancers, particularly head and neck neoplasms related to HPV infection. As of mid-2025, it remains in preclinical development with plans for IND-enabling studies and a first-in-human Phase 1 trial[1][2][4][5][6][7].
