Overview

TH101 is an absorbable thread product composed of biocompatible protein, developed by Hugel Inc. for the treatment of nasolabial folds. It represents a next-generation aesthetic thread designed to surpass traditional polydioxanone (PDO) threads by offering enhanced longevity, elasticity, and flexibility. The mechanism of action involves the mechanical lifting of soft tissue to provide immediate structural support, followed by the stimulation of natural collagen production to improve skin quality and volume over time. It is currently undergoing clinical confirmation for minimally invasive facial rejuvenation targeting age-related changes in the nasolabial fold area.
