Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Thai Duong 7 Shampoo (TD07) is a topical herbal formulation developed by the Sao Thai Duong Joint Stock Company for the treatment of scalp conditions such as seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, and hair loss. The formulation is a complex mixture of botanical extracts, including Gleditsia, Morus alba, Ocimum tenuiflorum, Oroxylum indicum, and Ageratum conyzoides. These ingredients are intended to exert anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects on the scalp while promoting hair health and preventing loss. TD07 has been evaluated in a Phase 3 clinical trial in Vietnam comparing its safety and efficacy to ketoconazole 2% shampoo, demonstrating significant success in managing scalp dermatitis symptoms over a four-week treatment course.
