The-15 series

The-15 series (also written as THE-15 series) is a preclinical-stage booster compound series being developed by Thena Biotech. It is designed to enhance the efficacy of targeted chemotherapeutic and immunotherapy approaches. The broader platform utilizes human heavy-chain ferritin (HFt) nanocages to selectively deliver bioactive peptides (BAPs) to tumor cells expressing CD71 (transferrin receptor 1). By targeting CD71, which is highly overexpressed in various solid and hematological cancers, the platform achieves receptor-mediated cell internalization, allowing for localized activation and release of therapeutic payloads in the tumor microenvironment while sparing healthy tissues.
