Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The Chaeum is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler developed by Hugel. It is indicated for the temporary improvement of facial wrinkles and volume restoration. The product line features a monophasic gel structure created through a specialized low-temperature cross-linking process, which ensures high purity and minimal residual cross-linking agents (BDDE). The Chaeum is available in multiple formulations (numbered 1 through 4) with varying HA concentrations and cross-linking densities to address different aesthetic needs, ranging from fine lines to deep folds and facial contouring. Some versions are formulated with lidocaine to enhance patient comfort during the injection procedure.
