Drug intelligence / Profile preview
THEO-310 is a novel oncolytic adenovirus developed by Theolytics for the treatment of multiple myeloma. It is designed to target the bone marrow tumor microenvironment (TME) of advanced, late-stage myeloma patients. THEO-310 features a rare viral capsid composition that allows it to bypass recognition by neutralizing antiviral antibodies, enabling effective systemic intravenous delivery. The virus selectively infects and replicates within malignant cells, leading to direct cell lysis. Additionally, THEO-310 alleviates immune suppression in the TME and stimulates anti-tumor immune responses, including the upregulation of natural killer (NK) cell degranulation markers and effector T-cell and dendritic cell responses.
