THERA MAX is a brand name for a line of zinc-free homeopathic nasal spray products, including THERA MAX Cold Relief, THERA MAX Flu Relief, THERA MAX Allergy Relief, and THERA MAX Migraine Relief. These products were invented by Dr. Charles Hensley and developed, manufactured, marketed, and sold by TheraBiogen under an exclusive licensing agreement with Nasal Therapeutics, established in July 2008. The products were positioned as a safer alternative to zinc-based nasal sprays like Zicam, following Zicam's 2009 FDA recall due to risks of anosmia, allowing for rapid market entry.
