Theranekron

Theranekron is a veterinary homeopathic preparation containing an alcoholic extract of the spider *Tarantula cubensis*. It is primarily utilized in veterinary medicine for the treatment of various inflammatory conditions, septic processes, and certain neoplastic diseases, such as mammary tumors in dogs and foot rot in cattle. The drug is thought to exert its therapeutic effects through immunomodulation and the induction of apoptosis in tumor cells. Research indicates that its mechanism of action involves the activation of the NKs/CTLs-GrzB-Casp10-Casp3 signaling pathway, leading to increased levels of Caspase-3, Caspase-10, and Granzyme-B, which facilitates programmed cell death.
