The therapeutic HBV vaccine is a mimogen-based, peptide vaccine containing εPA-44, developed by Chongqing Jiachen Biotechnology Ltd. It is designed to treat chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) patients, particularly those who are HBeAg positive. The vaccine aims to stimulate the body's immune system to overcome immune tolerance to the Hepatitis B virus (HBV) by inducing specific T-cell and B-cell responses against HBV antigens, thereby promoting viral clearance.
