THH-FMT is an experimental microbial therapy consisting of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) derived from donors treated with *Tripterygium hypoglaucum* (H. Lév.) Hutch. (THH). THH is a botanical extract used in traditional Chinese medicine for its anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties, particularly in the treatment of autoimmune conditions such as psoriasis. THH-FMT is utilized in preclinical research to investigate the role of the gut microbiota-metabolite axis in the therapeutic efficacy of THH. By transferring the THH-altered microbiome to recipient models, the treatment aims to suppress inflammatory responses, modulate the gut-skin axis, and ameliorate psoriasis-like dermatitis, highlighting the potential of microbiome-targeted strategies in managing inflammatory skin diseases.
