Overview

Alevia-B is a vitamin B-complex supplement developed and marketed by Pascual Laboratories. It contains a combination of three essential B vitamins: thiamine (B1), pyridoxine (B6), and cyanocobalamin (B12). These vitamins serve as vital cofactors in numerous enzymatic reactions throughout the body. Thiamine is essential for carbohydrate metabolism and energy production; pyridoxine is involved in amino acid metabolism, heme biosynthesis, and the synthesis of neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine; and cyanocobalamin is critical for DNA synthesis, red blood cell formation, and the maintenance of the myelin sheath surrounding nerves. Alevia-B is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B deficiencies and for the management of neurological conditions such as neuritis, polyneuritis, and various forms of neuropathy.
