Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Thiocell is an oral dietary supplement formulated as a chewable lozenge for skin whitening, anti-aging, and immune support. Developed by Dr. Theodore Hersh of Thione International and commercialized by Brady Pharma, the product features a synergistic combination of L-glutathione, vitamin C, and L-selenomethionine (known as the GCS synergy), along with vitamin D, vitamin E, and grape seed extract. The lozenge formulation is designed to facilitate absorption of glutathione through the oral cavity (buccal/sublingual mucosa) rather than the stomach, bypassing first-pass metabolism to maximize bioavailability and efficacy in reducing melanin production and pigmentation.
