Overview

ThisCART19A is an allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD19 antigen. Developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University, it is specifically designed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD19-positive B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL). Unlike traditional autologous CAR-T therapies that use a patient's own cells, ThisCART19A utilizes donor-derived (allogeneic) T cells. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials as a bridge therapy to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), aiming to achieve remission and stabilize patients before they undergo a transplant.
