THY-01

THY-01 is an investigational antiviral lipopeptide being developed by Thylacine Biotherapeutics as an intranasal or inhaled prophylactic and therapeutic agent targeting coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2, MERS, SARS, and common cold coronaviruses. Identified within two weeks of release of the SARS‑CoV‑2 sequence, THY-01 is part of a rapidly engineerable antiviral lipopeptide platform designed to be delivered via the respiratory tract for self-administration, with the goals of preventing upper respiratory tract infection, limiting progression to severe lower respiratory disease, and reducing viral transmission.[1]
