**Thymosin alpha1-iRGD** is an investigational tumor-penetrating fusion peptide comprising thymosin alpha 1, a 28-amino-acid immunomodulatory peptide, linked at its C-terminus through a glycine-rich linker to the iRGD tumor-penetrating peptide motif. The iRGD component is intended to promote tumor localization and tissue penetration through interactions with integrin alpha-V beta-3 and neuropilin-1, while the thymosin alpha 1 component retains immune-stimulatory activity. In preclinical melanoma and non-small-cell lung cancer models, the fusion peptide showed greater tumor-cell binding, antiproliferative activity, and antitumor effects than unmodified thymosin alpha 1, with reported enhancement of T-cell-associated immune activity. It is an academic-stage research candidate reported by investigators at China Pharmaceutical University and has no identified commercial brand, manufacturer, clinical trial program, or regulatory approval.
