Overview

THZ0106 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target B7-H3 (also known as CD276), a transmembrane protein frequently overexpressed in a wide range of solid tumors. Developed by T-MAXIMUM Biotech (Tianjing Biotechnology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd.), THZ0106 utilizes engineered T cells to specifically recognize and bind to B7-H3-expressing cancer cells, leading to T-cell activation and direct tumor cell lysis. B7-H3 is a member of the B7 family of immune checkpoint molecules and is associated with tumor progression, metastasis, and immune evasion, making it a high-priority target for immunotherapy in refractory malignancies. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, including glioblastoma and other B7-H3-positive cancers, where conventional treatments often fail.
