Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TI-1001 is a multi-antigen, peptide-based vaccine candidate developed by TechImmune for the prevention of COVID-19. Unlike first-generation vaccines that primarily target the highly mutable Spike protein, TI-1001 incorporates conserved epitopes from the Spike (S), Membrane (M), and Nucleocapsid (N) proteins of SARS-CoV-2. This design aims to provide broad and durable protection against multiple variants by inducing both robust neutralizing antibody responses and long-lasting T-cell immunity. The vaccine is formulated for intramuscular administration and is intended to function as a pan-coronavirus solution by targeting regions of the virus that are less prone to mutation.
