Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tiange Dingxuan Granules (天葛定眩颗粒) is an investigational, Class 1.1 traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) granule formulation being developed by Sichuan Guangda Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Livzon Pharmaceutical) in collaboration with Dongfang Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. The formulation is composed of *Gastrodia elata* (Tianma) and *Pueraria lobata* (Gegen) and is designed to dispel wind, resolve phlegm, and relieve vertigo. In October 2026, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved a clinical trial for Tiange Dingxuan Granules targeting vestibular migraine of the TCM pattern 'wind-phlegm with blood stasis obstructing the upper orifices' (also described as wind-phlegm with blood stasis disturbing the clear orifices). It is the first Class 1.1 TCM to enter registered clinical trials in China specifically targeting vestibular migraine.
