Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tianwuxiaoliu Tablets is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation developed by the Yue Yang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, affiliated with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the management of early pulmonary ground-glass nodules (GGNs), particularly in patients who do not meet criteria for surgery or who choose to defer surgical intervention. In clinical research, it is often evaluated in combination with the Shuanghuangsanjie Formula to assess its efficacy in reducing nodule size or stability and its impact on the psychological well-being of patients (e.g., reducing nodule anxiety). As a TCM product, its therapeutic effect is attributed to a complex mixture of botanical ingredients intended to address the underlying pathology of nodule formation according to TCM principles.
