Overview
Tianyi Cough Syrup (Tianyi Zhike Tangjiang) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and chemical drug combination syrup developed and manufactured by Zhejiang Tianyitang Pharmaceutical. It is formulated with a combination of herbal extracts and chemical active ingredients, including Stemona root liquid extract, Platycodon root liquid extract, Polygala root liquid extract, ephedrine hydrochloride, ammonium chloride, and menthol. The syrup is indicated for the treatment of cough, excessive phlegm, common cold, and bronchial asthma. It exerts anti-inflammatory, antitussive, expectorant, and antiasthmatic effects by dilating bronchial smooth muscle and promoting mucus clearance.
