Tiaochang Xiaoliu Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the prevention of colorectal adenoma recurrence following endoscopic removal of polyps in adults. The formulation is designed to regulate intestinal function and inhibit the formation of new adenomas, adhering to TCM principles of addressing underlying imbalances associated with colorectal pathologies. It is currently being evaluated in multi-center, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trials in China to establish its efficacy and safety as a long-term preventive therapy.
