Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tiaogan Buxu Jiedu Granules (调肝补虚解毒颗粒) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation developed for the treatment of chronic liver diseases, particularly chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection. It is designed to regulate liver function, tonify deficiency, and detoxify. Clinical studies have shown that when used in combination with nucleos(t)ide analogues such as entecavir, it can help reduce virological relapse after discontinuation of antiviral therapy in Chinese patients with chronic HBV[1][2]. The mechanism of action involves multiple herbal components working synergistically to inhibit HBV replication and potentially improve liver function through anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects[2].
