Overview

Tiaogan Jiedu Huashi is a traditional Chinese medicine formula that has been investigated for its therapeutic effects in HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B patients. It was studied in combination with adefovir dipivoxil to evaluate its impact on hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) and HBV-DNA loss, as well as liver function. Clinical trials have shown that this combination therapy can lead to superior HBeAg clearance compared to adefovir dipivoxil monotherapy.
