Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tiaogeng Prescription is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Longhua Hospital, affiliated with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically designed for the treatment of menopausal syndrome and associated cognitive impairments, such as amnestic mild cognitive impairment (aMCI) in early menopausal women. The prescription aims to regulate the endocrine system and improve cognitive function, potentially by modulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (HPO) axis and reducing neuroinflammation. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to verify its efficacy and safety in preventing female senile dementia by providing a precise diagnosis and treatment program for aMCI before and after menopause.
