Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tiaojing Cuyun Pill is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation used to treat female infertility, particularly cases associated with thin endometrium and menstrual irregularities. It is traditionally indicated for patients exhibiting a TCM pattern of spleen and kidney Yang deficiency. The formulation consists of various herbal components, such as Rehmannia glutinosa, Angelica sinensis, and Cuscuta chinensis, which are intended to warm the kidney, strengthen the spleen, and nourish the blood. Mechanistically, it is believed to regulate the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, improve uterine blood flow, and enhance endometrial thickness and receptivity, thereby facilitating embryo implantation and increasing pregnancy rates. It is often evaluated in clinical settings as an alternative or adjunct to hormonal therapies like estradiol and dydrogesterone.
