**TIB200** is a proprietary 10% ibuprofen topical gel developed by Futura Medical using their DermaSys® transdermal technology, designed for pain relief. It provides deeper skin penetration for potentially faster onset, longer duration (up to 12 hours), and reduced systemic absorption compared to standard ibuprofen gels, aiming to match or exceed market leaders like Nurofen gel while minimizing side effects associated with oral NSAIDs. In a Phase 1 UV-induced inflammatory pain model (NCT02666846), TIB200 demonstrated statistical superiority over placebo, non-inferiority to Nurofen Max Strength gel (10% ibuprofen) and oral Nurofen (400 mg), with comparable efficacy in reducing erythema and improving heat pain tolerance.[1][3][6][7]
