Overview

Tibetree is an over-the-counter (OTC) herbal pain-relieving plaster (patch) derived from traditional Tibetan medicine. It is designed for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains in muscles and joints, such as those associated with backache, arthritis, strains, and sprains. The plaster is applied topically to the site of pain, where its blend of botanical extracts is intended to provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) has evaluated Tibetree in a Phase 2 clinical trial (NCT03434301) specifically for the treatment of chronic musculoskeletal pain in cancer survivors who are in remission. The product is manufactured by Tibet Cheezheng Tibetan Medicine and is marketed as a non-prescription alternative for pain management.
