TIL 1383I TCR transduced T cells are autologous T cells (from the patient) genetically engineered to express the TIL 1383I T-cell receptor, which is derived from tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes of a melanoma patient. The TIL 1383I TCR specifically targets a class I MHC (HLA-A2)-restricted epitope (amino acids 368-376) of the tyrosinase antigen, which is commonly expressed in melanoma cells. The drug is developed for metastatic melanoma and is administered alongside lymphodepletion and low-dose IL-2[1][2][3][4][7]. The mechanism of action relies on adoptive cell therapy, where engineered T cells recognize and kill tumor cells presenting the target epitope.
