TIL-TCR

TIL-TCR is an experimental adoptive cell therapy program developed by Rebirthel, a biotechnology company focused on regenerating T cells from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The TIL-TCR program involves identifying and cloning T-cell receptors (TCRs) from tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) found within a patient's or donor's tumor, which are naturally primed to recognize cancer-specific antigens. These TCRs are then engineered into iPSC-derived T cells to create a standardized, "off-the-shelf" therapeutic product. This approach aims to combine the high specificity of TIL-derived receptors with the scalability and rejuvenated phenotype of iPSC-derived cells, potentially offering a more potent and accessible treatment for various solid tumors compared to traditional autologous TIL therapies.
