Overview
TILKine is a preclinical-stage bispecific biologic developed by Cugene for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed as a tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL)-targeting molecule that combines an engineered cytokine with an immune checkpoint inhibitor. The drug's mechanism of action involves blocking immune checkpoint signaling while simultaneously activating effector T cells through cis-signaling. This dual approach is intended to localize immune activation within the tumor microenvironment, potentially enhancing anti-tumor efficacy while minimizing systemic toxicity associated with conventional cytokine therapies.
