Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TILT-234 is a preclinical-stage oncolytic immunotherapy being developed by TILT Biotherapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. Built upon the company's proprietary TILT technology platform, the agent utilizes an Adenovirus serotype 3 (Ad3) vector engineered to express human CD40 ligand (CD40L). TILT-234 is designed to function as a "dendritic cell therapy enabling technology" by selectively replicating in and lysing tumor cells while simultaneously delivering CD40L to the tumor microenvironment. This dual approach aims to activate dendritic cells, enhance antigen presentation, and stimulate a potent systemic anti-tumor immune response, potentially overcoming local immunosuppression and synergizing with other cell-based therapies.
