Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Timdarpacept (formerly known as IMM01 or SIRPαFc) is a recombinant fusion protein developed by ImmuneOnco Biopharma. It targets the CD47 antigen and acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking the "don't eat me" signal on tumor cells. This blockade enables macrophage-mediated phagocytosis of cancer cells and enhances anti-tumor immunity through antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), stimulation of phagocytes, and T lymphocyte activation. Timdarpacept is being investigated primarily for hematologic malignancies such as chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML), myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and solid tumors[1][5][6].
