Timolol is a non-selective beta adrenergic blocker (beta blocker) used to treat several cardiovascular and ophthalmic conditions. Orally, it is prescribed for hypertension (high blood pressure), prevention of migraine headaches, and to improve survival after a heart attack by relaxing blood vessels and slowing the heart rate[1][5][7].
