Overview

TINK-102 is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf chimeric antigen receptor-engineered invariant natural killer T (CAR-iNKT) cell therapy being developed by Tinkeso Therapeutics. It is specifically designed for the treatment of autoimmune diseases driven by pathogenic B-cell or T-cell populations. The therapy utilizes Tinkeso's proprietary iNKT cell expansion platform, which enables the cost-effective manufacturing of multiple doses from a single donor leukopak, addressing the scalability and affordability challenges associated with traditional autologous CAR-T therapies. iNKT cells are unique in that they possess both innate and adaptive immune characteristics and do not typically cause graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), making them an ideal candidate for allogeneic applications. While the specific molecular target of the CAR construct in TINK-102 remains undisclosed, the therapy aims to selectively modulate or deplete the immune cell subsets responsible for autoimmune pathology. TINK-102 is currently in preclinical development.
