Tio-Dexiren

Tio-Dexiren is a fixed-dose combination pharmaceutical product containing dexketoprofen trometamol and thiocolchicoside. Dexketoprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and the S(+)-enantiomer of ketoprofen, which acts by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) to provide analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic effects. Thiocolchicoside is a semi-synthetic sulfur derivative of colchicoside that acts as a muscle relaxant with selective affinity for gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and glycine receptors, where it acts as a competitive antagonist. Marketed by Apeks Pharma and manufactured by İlko İlaç, Tio-Dexiren is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, including muscle spasms, dysmenorrhea, and toothache.
