Tutast is a brand of tiotropium bromide developed by Arven Pharmaceuticals. It is a long-acting muscarinic antagonist (LAMA) indicated for the maintenance treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Tiotropium works by blocking muscarinic M3 receptors in the bronchial smooth muscle, leading to sustained bronchodilation and improvement in lung function. It is delivered via inhalation using the Sanohaler dry powder inhaler device.
