Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tiragolumab + pembrolizumab is a combination of two monoclonal antibody therapies designed for cancer immunotherapy. Tiragolumab is a fully human IgG1 anti-TIGIT monoclonal antibody that inhibits the interaction between TIGIT and CD155, aiming to enhance T cell responses and modulate the tumor microenvironment[1]. Pembrolizumab is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting the programmed cell death-1 (PD-1) receptor on T lymphocytes, blocking its interactions with PD-L1 and PD-L2, thus reactivating exhausted T cells and promoting anti-tumor immune responses[2][4]. The combination is under investigation chiefly for the treatment of various cancers, taking advantage of dual immune checkpoint blockade to produce synergistic activation of anti-tumor immunity.
