Overview

Tirilizumab is a monoclonal antibody drug developed as an immunotherapy agent. It functions primarily as an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting PD-1 (programmed cell death protein 1), thereby enhancing the immune system's ability to detect and destroy cancer cells. It is being investigated mainly for the treatment of various cancers, including non-small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors. The drug works by blocking the interaction between PD-1 on T cells and its ligands, which normally suppress immune responses, thus promoting anti-tumor immunity.
