Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TISA-818 is a first-in-class small molecule investigational drug developed by EnliTISA for the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). It possesses a novel molecular structure and a unique mechanism of action characterized as an immune-sparing anti-inflammatory. This approach suppresses excessive inflammation while preserving essential immune responses and modulating the resolution of inflammation. TISA-818 is administered via intravenous injection for ARDS, and a subcutaneous formulation is under development for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). A Phase II clinical trial for ARDS in China was completed in early 2025.
