Overview

This investigational combination therapy is being evaluated in a Phase 2 clinical trial for the treatment of newly diagnosed angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL). The regimen consists of five distinct agents: tislelizumab, a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1); cyclophosphamide, an alkylating chemotherapy agent; mitoxantrone liposomes, a liposomal formulation of the anthracenedione antineoplastic agent; chidamide, a selective histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor; and prednisone, a synthetic corticosteroid. This multi-modal approach aims to improve outcomes in AITL by combining immune checkpoint blockade with cytotoxic chemotherapy and epigenetic modulation. The trial is sponsored by The Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical University.
