Tissue Repair Cells (TRCs) are an autologous cell therapy developed by Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. They are derived from a patient's own bone marrow, which is processed and expanded using the AastromReplicell Cell Production System. This process yields a mixed population of stem and progenitor cells, including CD90+ mesenchymal stem cells and CD105+ monocytes/macrophages.
