TIV mRNA-neuraminidase

TIV mRNA-neuraminidase is an investigational trivalent influenza vaccine candidate that utilizes messenger RNA (mRNA) technology to encode the neuraminidase (NA) antigen from three different influenza virus strains. It is designed to induce immunity against influenza by prompting the body’s cells to produce viral neuraminidase proteins, thereby stimulating an immune response. This vaccine is being studied in combination with a trivalent mRNA hemagglutinin (HA) vaccine as part of a hexavalent influenza vaccine formulation.
