Overview

TJ0113 is a small molecule selective mitophagy inducer developed by Hangzhou PhecdaMed. It acts by activating the PINK1/Parkin pathway to enhance mitophagy activity and restore mitochondrial integrity. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials for various indications, including Parkinson's disease, depressive disorder, and age-related hearing loss. Preclinical evidence also suggests potential efficacy in Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) by attenuating renal fibrosis, inflammation, and cyst growth through improved mitochondrial quality control.
