Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TJ085 is a small molecule inhibitor of the Werner syndrome ATP-dependent helicase (WRN), currently in the IND-enabling stage for the treatment of solid tumors. Developed by Tuojie Biotech, the compound is designed to exploit synthetic lethality in tumors characterized by microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or deficient mismatch repair (dMMR). By inhibiting the helicase activity of WRN, TJ085 induces catastrophic DNA damage and cell death specifically in MSI-H cancer cells, providing a targeted approach for patients with these specific genetic signatures.
