Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TJ099 is a preclinical RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic candidate being developed by Tuojie Biotech for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease. The drug utilizes small interfering RNA (siRNA) technology to selectively silence the expression of a target gene implicated in the pathogenesis of the disease. By degrading the target mRNA, TJ099 aims to reduce the production of proteins that contribute to neurodegeneration and the motor symptoms of Parkinson's. As of 2024, the program is in the Pre-Clinical Candidate (PCC) stage of development.
