Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TJP-008-1** is the one-day, morning-only split-dose regimen of Taejoon Pharmaceutical’s low-volume oral bowel-cleansing product TJP-008, marketed as CleanViewAL. The fixed-dose powder preparation combines polyethylene glycol 3350 with high-dose ascorbate and electrolyte salts; after dissolution in water, it produces an osmotic laxative effect that retains water in the intestinal lumen and promotes rapid colonic evacuation before colonoscopy. TJP-008-1 was evaluated in a randomized, evaluator-blinded Phase 3 trial versus the evening-morning TJP-008-2 regimen and a 2-liter PEG-plus-ascorbate comparator, with noninferior bowel-cleansing efficacy.
