TK-002 is an investigational small molecule ophthalmic solution developed by Teikoku Seiyaku for the treatment of seasonal allergic conjunctivitis (SAC), specifically targeting symptoms induced by Japanese cedar pollen. It functions as a histamine H1 receptor antagonist, aiming to alleviate ocular allergic responses such as itching, redness, and swelling. The drug has been evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials in Japan, which included safety and pharmacokinetic assessments in healthy adult men and efficacy evaluations using allergen challenge models in patients during their asymptomatic periods.
