Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TK001 is a full-length recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody targeting vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), developed by Jiangsu T-Mab Biopharma Co., Ltd. for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). By binding to VEGF, TK001 inhibits the signaling pathways responsible for abnormal blood vessel growth and vascular leakage in the retina, which are the primary drivers of vision loss in nAMD. The drug is administered via intravitreal injection and has been evaluated in Phase I clinical trials to assess its safety, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in patients receiving both single and multiple doses.
