Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TL-002 is a half-life extended monoclonal antibody (HLE mAb) targeting the Oncostatin M receptor (OSMR), currently in the discovery phase of development by TrueLab Biopharmaceutical. It is being investigated for the treatment of chronic pruritic conditions, including prurigo nodularis and pruritus. OSMR is a critical component of the signaling complexes for both Oncostatin M (OSM) and Interleukin-31 (IL-31), cytokines that play significant roles in skin inflammation and the induction of itch through neuro-immune pathways. By blocking OSMR, TL-002 aims to suppress these pathological signals. The half-life extension modification is designed to improve the drug's pharmacokinetic profile, potentially allowing for less frequent administration compared to standard monoclonal antibodies.
