TL-009

TL-009 is a half-life extended bispecific antibody (HLE BsAb) developed by TrueLab Biopharmaceutical for the treatment of autoimmune diseases, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE), and lupus nephritis (LN). The therapeutic candidate is designed to simultaneously target the Transmembrane Activator and CAML Interactor (TACI) and the Interferon Alpha/Beta Receptor 1 (IFNAR1). By dual-targeting these pathways, TL-009 aims to inhibit B-cell maturation and survival (via TACI antagonism) while concurrently blocking the type I interferon signaling pathway (via IFNAR1 antagonism), both of which are central to the pathogenesis of lupus. The drug is currently in the discovery phase of development.
